The initiator and owner of the company Mr. Panicos Hadjimina, an expert in hydraulic installation systems, got involved in the construction of pools in 1989.

During the time of his involvement in the sector, he noticed the weakness of the sector regarding the construction of pools as well as the sector’s weakness regarding customer service. He began designing new innovative methods, and in 1995 he founded the Riviera Swimming Pools ltd.

The methods which he developed and followed brought a series of successes which the sector has not experienced before. 
 

History of Riviera in short
1995	Riviera pioneers the development of the monolithic system of the ‘Overflow’ pools.
1998	Riviera signs exclusive for the Cyprus’s market business deals with foreign companies which specialize in pool equipment.
2001	The company is enriched with the hiring of experienced and specialized personnel.
2004	Riviera perfects the monolithic system of the ‘Skimmer’ pool.
2005	Riviera opens a separate department for the design and development of pool.
2005	Riviera develops the construction of the monolithic system and is enriched with the new pool design of the ‘Vanishing Edge’.
2006	Riviera opens a new show room in Paphos.
2006	Riviera opens a new show room in Xylofagou.
2008	Riviera develops the new pool model ‘Overflow’ with the use of advanced technologies.
